"I blame everyone else that I'm grumpy. It's not MY fault I'm surround by idiots."
Wʜᴏ?
"Sir, who are you and the others around you?"
Name: Claude. My name is Claude. Claude Greer Gulley. Yes, my middle name and last name start with the same letter. My initials are C.G.G.... nope, nothing special. I guess my name's alright. It's better than being named after someone... then you're pretty much expected to live up their expectation. But enough with my name, let's hurry this along.
Gender: I'm a guy, a male... I don't know if I should be offended by this or not. I would assume you could tell. I might be a little short, but I wouldn't say I'm feminine. Next question.
Age: Age? I've been alive for twelve years. I'm in the seventh grade with quite a few other idiots my age. Some of them are alright, I guess, but I'd rather not talk to them. I don't want to grow up, because that means I have to get a job and stuff, but I wish I was older. It seems like the older kids get to have more fun.
Statuses: I'm really only seen as a friend or acquaintance to others. Maybe I've made a few enemies along the way, but besides that... nothing. I guess somebody out there sees me as a son, and maybe my adoptive parents do, but I don't really think so. I don't spend much time with them and I never really did. I'm a student at the Fox Den boarding school.
Raised By: Well, I was raised by my adoptive parents-Dan and Laurana-until a few years ago. When I was eight, an opportunity came up for me to head off to a boarding school in Missouri. Since then I've been raising myself. I like being on my own the most.
Family: I'm not entirely sure who my real family is. I think I was taken away from my mom when I was little because they didn't take good care of me. That's what I've got from eavesdropping on my adoptive parents talking. They never caught me. But, for the people I grew up with, it was them and a lot of siblings. The other kids and I didn't really notice each other. We lived on a big property and were even home schooled. It was out in the country, on a farm. I can't remember how many of us kids there were, but there were probably somewhere around ten.
Friends: No friends that I can think of, but I'll keep you posted.
Enemies: No enemies either... not yet, anyway.
Looks: With short red hair and green eyes, I've grown to resemble the apples of the orchards I spend much time in. I've always had hair with some sort of red tint and my eyes, which lack a pupil, have always been this way. My skin is fairly light, but I definitely have a tan. I spend most my time in the shade but I still get sunburns. They usually turn into tans rather quickly, though, so my tan line is pretty pronounced. My jacket is green with yellow cuffs and a yellow hood, but they almost look golden. Catch it in the right light. You'll see it. That jacket is one that my adoptive father got for me. Laurana made the zipper an apple. It goes down to either my mid-thighs or my knees. Yeah, I'm really short, only 4'10". I'm a bit chubby as well. My baby fat is still here... at least, that's what I blame it on. I weight 105 pounds. I'm still holding out for a growth spurt. Anyways, I usually wear red pants. Sometimes they're jeans but usually they're just sweatpants. I'm not big on shoes, so I usually just wear red flip flops in school. I take them off in class sometimes and the teachers don't seem to notice. That, or they don't care. My facial structure consists of chubby cheeks that are often blushing and a forehead covered by red bangs. My lips are rather skinny, come to think of it, and they naturally fall into a frown. My eyebrows are a bit high, but the right one is often covered by my hair anyways. I'm usually seen as younger than I am, perhaps a ten or eleven year old. That's really all I have to say of my appearance.
Personality: There are a lot of different ways you can describe me. You could call me grumpy and lazy and I would accept it as the truth. Call me quiet and reserved? You're right again. I seem to frown a lot just because I don't really like company much. I'd rather just listen to the quiet sounds of the wilderness that have to listen to boring chit-chat. Sometimes, though, I will smile. I'd say I'm rather focused, so completing a big goal can put a grin on my face. Conversation can do it at times as well. Nature is my favorite subject. Whether it's talking about animal-life or the flora found here in Missouri, I'm all for it. This makes me a bit of a science nerd. However, the only history I care about is evolution. Wars don't interest me in the least and I don't care about cultures. All I like hearing about is how things change over time. As for being lazy, I'd probably have to agree with you. Running is tiring and I don't like any sports. That's why I love hanging out in the shade of the big apple trees. I don't have to move. I love napping, and that's a great spot for it as well. While I don't get alone very well with most of my peers, I've got pretty good relations with those that share interests with me. Nerds all into that group a fair lot, but there are a few others that garden with me I've learned to get along with. It's not like I share secrets with them, though. I keep things to myself. Usually, I keep my mouth closed and just let them speak. I don't really know what to say. I may not be popular, but I'm fine with that. Apparently some kids think I'm mysterious and they like me for that... want to befriend me and learn my secrets. That's what the few people I talk to say, but I rarely mind what they say. My roommates try to pretend I don't live with them. Those jocks all the time through their footballs and backpacks onto my bed, leaving me to just dump it all on the floor. In the morning either they pick it up or I have to. Usually, they just take what they need and leave me with the mess. I'm way too organized. I often find myself having to clean up after them if I'm spending an extended length of time in the room. Well, that's my personality for you.
Wʜᴀᴛ?
"Tell me about objects. What is it the interests you, and what do you own?"
Home: A dorm room at my school.
Furnishings: I've got a bed and a nightstand to myself. My roommates and I share the desk, computer and TV.
Garden: On the corner of campus, the school had some unused land, so I asked if I could start a garden. They gave me a choice. I could share the task with others or do it alone. At first, I wanted to do it alone, but when I thought about how much work I'd have to do overall, I opted for group help. I maintain the orchard. The others sell the fruits and veggies we grow, grow flowers in other places around campus and help out with other crops. We don't have to spend much time together. If I had to spend time with anyone, though, I would rather be with my group of green-thumbs. Our apple trees are fruitful and the flowers bloom in brilliant colors. I have to say, they learn pretty fast. I and the other experienced kids in the group taught the ones that were new to it. It was hard getting the shy ones to say anything and more difficult yet to get the rebel to listen, but we did it. I think the rebel, whom was receiving punishment, enjoys it now, as she's stuck around after the principal said she could quit. The group's been good for us all, and the plants even better. Now we can breath fresh air from pretty things.
Objects: I really don't have that many things that belong to me exclusively. Besides my clothes, it's really just a few pictures from home and some other supplies. The pictures I brought are of my family as well as the old scenery. However, the things I like the most are the things I share with the gardeners. All our tools are cared for by me. Every morning and every night I go check on the shed, making sure everything is in it's place and accounted for. If something is fishy, I bring it up with the members of the group. Items don't really mean much to me.
Favorite Object: I'll be honest with you here, my favorite object might seem a little funny. Back at home, my parents took great care of me, I will admit to that. Mom made me a stuffed toy by knitting. She did that for everyone. Mine was a cute little apple wearing a happy smile. I treasure it and even carry it around in my backpack. It's silly, I know, but nobody has found it yet. Even when I nap with it beneath a tree, I hold it beneath my body so nobody's prying eyes can land on it. My roommates go to bed before, as they find sleep soon after returning from practice, so when I return I knock their things off my bed before getting Appy, the apple, out of my bag and placing it with me beneath the covers.
Favorite Song: I really don't care for music much. While I like it, it's not significant in my lie. Perhaps something by an orchestra? Whenever I walk by their classroom, I'm whisked away by the lovely sound coming from behind the doors.
Favorite Music Genre: Classical music is a soothing genre. I can close my eyes and let it take my mind into a world of fantasy. It's easy to sleep to as well. I don't have to worry about loud screaming like that which comes from rock and metal. There's no risk of a sudden "drop" like in techno. It's not likely the tempo will catch me off-guard and speed up like pop so often does. It's just so peaceful.
Favorite Color: I love green. Green grass, green plants, green beans! There are so many wonderful things colored green. Some apples begin a green color and the leaves of the trees they sprout from are often just slightly darker in shade. I can't pick a shade, but it's definitely green. Like my jacket.
Favorite Food: Apples. Climbing up into the inviting arms of a tree is half the fun. Plucking off a bright red apple and then taking that first bite is the other half. Not only is getting and eating them fun and easy, the taste that covers my tongue when I eat them is wonderful! I'll eat an apple with breakfast, an apple with lunch, an apple with dinner! Apple pie is by far my favorite dessert. From the crust to the lovely center... oh, it's great.
Favorite Animal: Prancing through an apple orchard, here comes a fox. I've seen many of these majestic animals bumbling around in the garden. Whether looking for a meal or taking a stroll after a tasty snack, they always catch my eye. Watching them isn't as boring as it may sound.

"Where does your life take place?"
Birthplace: I was born in a quaint little town called Lokston. Lokston, Kentucky to be exact. It's located pretty close to the border of Missouri. Really, it's a tiny little town. There are a few creeks so small they show up only on local maps. They're often surrounded by area of forest that kids and teenagers take to exploring quite frequently. I had to leave there when I was four. That was when I moved to a nearby home out in the country, my foster home.
Workplace: I have no job and no plans to get one, but I make a little bit of money off of apples sold by my garden-mates. Usually I allow wild animals to have them or just eat them myself.
Home Location: I live on campus. There are several building around. My building is called the Crown Flat. It's an all-boys dormitory on the east side, the closest one to the pool. I really don't visit it much, but sometimes it's nice to walk by and see everyone hanging out and having a good time They find fun in a different way then me. Sometimes, a familiar face will see me and try to get me to come in the pool, but I usually try to ignore them. Most are girls. There's a bathhouse right next to it, and just across the road from it is a doughnut shop called Done It. I'm guessing that's because all they have are classic donuts and doughnut holes. If it's not, then I have no clue. Closer up to my hall are other dorms and flats, as it's considered the main residential area. The other buildings, ones you go to school at, are spread out around campus.
School: Fox Den is the name of my boarding school. It gets that from the various families of foxes that live around here. It's located in southern Missouri, just outside a large city called Yauston. The grounds were simple when I arrived. There was tall grass that was occasionally mowed wherever there wasn't pavement or a building. Now that I've formed the gardening group, we've turned into the grounds keeping group as well. Fine by me. The other kids generally mow and pick up trash. All I do is care for the orchard, but that's quite a bit of work as well. I'm really just the leader. Our sports team isn't the best... we've got a few good players spread out through the different sports, but as a whole, we seem to be bad. I'm not a jock or anything, so I don't really mind. Our campus has quite a few different restaurants and other hangouts-including bowling-around. I don't go to them, but it seems they keep other kids entertained.
Frequently Visited Locations: I generally chill out in the shade of the orchard. Sometimes, I'll venture to the library in the center of campus to read up on an interesting subject or figure out something for a project. It's rare I attend a sporting event or go to one of the social areas around, but occasionally I find myself stumbling into an event.
